June 5, 2023, Changes regarding appointments for Unemployment Insurance in the local offices.
You will not be required to have an appointment for UI/Workforce services. You can be seen at the local office during business hours. Each office will work with you on a first come, first served basis. While we will continue to make every effort to answer your questions during the appointment, UI Specialists may not be able to provide a resolution during a single visit. Some UI claims may require additional paperwork or take additional time to complete and process.
Each office will maintain 10 phone appointments available daily for scheduling to accommodate those who cannot, or prefer not, to be in-person.
- Bring two forms of acceptable ID documents. Go to kcc.ky.gov (<add correct link) under employment service to review the acceptable ID documents list.
- While we will continue to make every effort to answer your questions during the appointment, UI Specialists may not be able to provide a resolution during a single visit.
